After years of efforts, the WCSA-IAU cooperation agreement has finally been signed. Both organisations aim to join forces to strengthen international competitions and increase international recognition of crossbow sport. Under this agreement, the IAU allows WCSA athletes to participate in IAU-sanctioned events, and the WCSA allows IAU athletes to participate in WCSA-sanctioned events. In both cases, athletes may compete in the appropriate category in accordance with the rules of the host federation. The IAU will recognise the TC900 event, and the WCSA will recognise the IR900 event, also known as IAU Classic, as official formats for promoting joint competitions. The same applies to WCSA Target Match Play and IAU Match Play rounds. The WCSA link provides all the necessary information for participating in WCSA competitions. We look forward in good faith to welcoming WCSA members to the IAU World Cups and European Championships this year.
