Another invitation reached our office - this time for the 28th Croatia Cup and World Cup in Field crossbow. This is a further wonderful opportunity for athletes from around the world to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level.

The event will take place from 21st to 23rd July 2023 in Veliko Trgovišće, in the beautiful country of Croatia, where participants will have the chance to experience the unique culture and stunning landscapes that Croatia has to offer.

On behalf of the Czech Crossbow Association - Field Division we are glad to announce that the Bohemia Cup goes in its 25th year. The competition, held traditionally in Otrokovice, will host also the first Field World Cup in 2023, taking place from 23rd June till 25th June 2023.

We are inviting field crossbow shooters from all around the world to celebrate the start of a new season, enjoying the hospitality of our Czech friends.

We are delighted to announce that the date for the Austria Open in Innsbruck has been confirmed and invitations have been sent out for associated competitions in 10m match crossbow.

The Austria Open will take place from 8th June till 11th June 2023 in the beautiful city of Innsbruck. This is an exciting opportunity for athletes from near and far to come together and compete in this thrilling sport.

Additionally, we are proud to host two World Cup competitions for 10m match crossbow, which will take place on the same date and on the same location. These competitions will bring together the best athletes from around the globe to compete at the highest level and showcase their skills.

We hope to see you all there, whether you are competing or simply spectating. It promises to be a fantastic event and we cannot wait to welcome you to Innsbruck.

As we step into the new year, I want to reflect on the previous season and share my thoughts for the upcoming months. Despite the challenges that we faced, our community showed remarkable dedication and enthusiasm, and we came together to create unforgettable moments.

Last season, we had to adapt to new circumstances and make some last-minute changes to our events and competitions. But with your support, we rose to the challenge and demonstrated the spirit of sportsmanship that defines us. From the intense matches to the sense of camaraderie, the previous season was a testament to the strength of our community.

Looking forward, we are committed to returning to normal and providing opportunities for us to come together once again. We are actively exploring new ways to make this happen, and we will share our plans with you in the near future.

We have launched a new webpage with the aim to provide all of you the information on the actual activities of the IAU and to follow the life of the crossbow community. As the webpage is still under construction and continuously growing, we would appreciate any feedback or advice how to make things better and usable for any visitor.
