BULLETIN WITH ALL THE RESULTS OF THE IAU WORLD CUP AND THE 2ND MORAVIA CUP! |
The first competition from the IAU World Cup series 2025 was held in the beautiful Czech town of Plumlov. After the 1st IAU World Cup, the IAU World Ranking List was created. The 2nd Plumlov Cup in Field discipline IR900 was also held in this competition, and 43 competitors participated. The competition was in both team and individual categories. The teams were mixed, consisting of three members of different categories. The CRO 2 team won ahead of CRO 1, and the FRA team came in third. You can see the individual winners by category and the team results. On June 29, 2025, the 2nd Moravia Cup competition in the IAU Field Match Play discipline ended. The top 12 male and female athletes competed in this competition, based on the rankings from the previous day in the IAU IR900 discipline. In the exciting duel matches, attended by a large number of spectators, the following fights took place: - In the women's competition, the Frenchwoman Jacob Ludvine defeated the Croatian Valentina Kozumplik 6:0 in the final match. In the fight for the bronze medal between the two Croatians, Mihaela Oborovečki defeated Valentina Pereglin 5:3. - In the men's competition, two Croatians fought for gold. After an exciting fight, Domagoj Pereglin defeated Martin Oborovečki 5:3. A little earlier, in the battle for 3rd place, the domestic competitor Denis Vyskočil defeated the Austrian Markus Múllner 5:3. This final match concludes the first step of the IAU World Cup Field Series. The next step is the IAU World Cup in Croatia in the beautiful Zagorje town of Veliko Trgovišće from July 25 to 27, 2025. Double double victory in the World Cup #2
On the second day, we witnessed a rare situation, where the previous day winners repeated their gold performance!
In the women’s category, Jolanda Prinz (GER) secured the gold medal with a strong score of 396, finishing six points ahead of her closest competitors. Léna Giannini (FRA) and Coline Hamelin (FRA) both scored 390 points, with Giannini taking silver on inner tens.
The men’s competition was closely contested, with Stéphane Hatterer (FRA) taking gold with a score of 392. His teammate Julien Messiasse (FRA) followed closely with 391 for silver. Jakub Novák (CZE) completed the podium with 390, earning the bronze medal in a tightly packed top field.

Innsbruck hosts a double event in match crossbow shooting this week, bringing together international and domestic competitors for the 10m discipline. The competition opened with the Austrian Open Mixed Team event on the first day. Mixed teams, consisting of one male and one female athlete, competed in qualification rounds followed by elimination matches. Teams from Austria, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic and Switzerland were among those participating, with several matches decided by narrow margins.

The second day marked the beginning of the World Cup competition with the 1st World Cup Match. Scores were consistent with international standards, and several athletes reached results over the 390 mark. The match counted toward the overall World Cup standings, attracting a competitive field, including previous World Championship medalists.

The IAU congratulates Jolanda Prinz from Germany for raising the almost to the day 6 years old 10m Match Crossbow women’s world record to the new value of 398 points!
Parallel to the World Cup, the Austrian Open continued with the finals in the Senior (45+), U23 Women, and U23 Men categories. Qualification results from earlier rounds determined the top eight shooters in each class, who then competed in finals following the standard ISSF-style format adapted for match crossbow. Local athletes were well represented in all three categories, with some delivering notable performances against experienced competitors from neighboring countries.

Dear Athletes, Officials, and Crossbow Enthusiasts, The deadline for a regular application for the IAU World Cups in 10m Match Crossbow in Innsbruck 2025 has expired. Late entries will be processed according to the rulebook.
For the World Cup 1 competition, 62 athletes were enrolled (18 women and 44 men); World Cup 2 has 52 (18 women and 34 men).
